For over nine years, and headquartered in Nisku, AB, GridIron Drilling Services Partnership has been providing superior rathole drilling services to the oil and gas industry in Western Canada, including British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.

GridIron Drilling is a stable company that has doubled in size over the last year, and is looking for a Class 1 Truck Driver/Swamper.

The Class 1 Truck Driver/Swamper s main role is to drive a heavy-duty truck, travelling between lease sites and assisting rathole drillers in setting up main starter holes. Your duties will also include off-loading, re-loading, and assisting in the rig-up process. You will be responsible for keeping an accurate daily driving log book, and will often work as part of a two-person driver/swamper driller crew.

The successful candidate will hold the following certifications or safety tickets: H2S, TDG, WHMIS, and First Aid. You will have black-top Class 1 driving experience and it is important that you have off-road driving experience. Also, you must be legally entitled to work in Canada, have a high school diploma, can present a clean driving abstract, and must be willing to undergo an initial/random drug testing.

To be successful in this roll, you will be a physically fit (able to lift 90lbs), energetic individual who can keep up with the physical demands of a fast-paced work environment. You will be joining a friendly, open-minded team and can expect 10-12 hour work days in an outside environment. You have excellent problem solving skills and are a mechanically inclined individual with a clean, presentable physical appearance.

This is the perfect role for a flexible, positive, team-player able to travel to remote drilling locations for 6-7 months of the year.

For all your hard work, you will receive a salary of $28,000, plus commission and 2 weeks paid vacation after a year! You will also receive full benefits including medical, dental, long term disability, life insurance after 3 months, and a monthly $30 cell phone allowance.
